Finance and people operations · Built for Nigeria
Invoices out. Payments in.Payroll run.Returns ready to file.
Flux is one approval-controlled workspace where you raise invoices, collect by card or bank transfer, pay your staff with PAYE and pension already worked out, and export your VAT return in the format the NRS asks for.
- From $10 a month
- ₦ first, multi-currency
- Your brand on every invoice
- Several companies, one login
01 · Month-end, as it really goes
Five tools, five versions of the truth. Nobody sees the whole month.
The invoice is a Word file called FINAL_v3. The payment arrives as a bank alert, and someone matches it by eye. Payroll lives in a spreadsheet that one person understands. Approvals happen on WhatsApp, so there’s no record of who said yes. And every month, the VAT return is rebuilt from scratch.
One flow, one record. Every naira accounted for.
02 · How Flux fits together
Three jobs. One controlled flow.
Most finance software handles one of these jobs. Flux connects all three, so a payroll voucher, an invoice payment and a VAT line all come from the same approved record.
03 · The modules
Nine modules. Use the ones you need.
Not every business runs payroll in Flux, and that’s fine. Start with invoicing, then add HR & Payroll when you’re ready.

04 · Get paid · Invoicing and online payments
Send the invoice. Watch it get paid.
Every approved invoice goes out with a secure Pay online link. Your customer pays by card or bank transfer, and Flux matches the payment to the invoice and issues the receipt. You don’t search through bank alerts.
Pay online, on every invoice.
The link sits on the PDF and in the email. The customer pays the gateway fee, so you receive the full invoice amount.
Short payments stay unpaid.
“Payment of ₦240,000 is short by ₦1,500, so the invoice stays unpaid.” The shortfall is flagged instead of slipping through.
Statements on request.
Every customer’s invoices, payments and balance on one page, ready to send.
Your brand, not ours.
Your logo, your colour and your sending domain on the invoice, the receipt and the email.
05 · Pay your people · Payroll, HR and leave
Payroll with the Nigerian items already worked out.
Flux calculates and tracks PAYE, pension, NHF, NSITF and ITF on every pay run, and prepares the remittance schedules for you to pay. Payslips go to staff through self-service, so HR stops answering “can you resend my October payslip?”
Pay runs pass through approval steps, and the payroll audit trail records who changed what.
Staff loans, allowances, overtime, penalties and deductions, all with approvals.
Employees view their payslips and their tax and pension history, and update their RSA and bank details themselves.
Leave requests, manager approvals and one team calendar.
06 · Control and comply
Nothing moves without the right sign-off.
The person who raises an invoice can’t approve it. Invoices above your threshold need a final approval. Every voucher, pay run and loan has an approver and a timestamp. When the auditor asks who approved a payment, you can answer.
Two-stage approvals with a final-approval threshold in naira, and separation of duties.
An audit log across invoices, vouchers and payroll.
The cash-basis VAT report and the NRS Rev 360 return as a download, plus WHT reports.
Flux prepares the reports. Confirm your filings with your tax adviser.
07 · For groups and integrators
Several companies. Your brand. Your systems connected.
Many companies, one login.
Each organisation keeps its own settings, numbering, approvers and branding. Switch between them without signing out.
White-label by default.
Your customers see your logo, your colour and your domain. Flux stays in the background.
An API that respects your workflow.
Invoices raised through the API still go through approval. Webhooks are signed, keys are scoped, and PDF and payment links are signed and expire.
08 · Getting started
Four steps, then it runs every month.
Set up your organisation.
Add your logo, colour, numbering, approvers and sending domain.
Bring in customers and staff.
Import from Excel instead of retyping.
Run invoicing and payroll through approvals.
Raise, review, approve, send.

Payments are matched, receipts issued, and VAT and WHT exported, ready for your adviser.

10 · Before you ask
Questions finance teams ask first.
What is Flux?
A cloud workspace for the money side of a Nigerian business: invoicing, online payments, payroll, HR and leave, vouchers, and VAT and WHT reporting, all behind approvals and an audit trail.
Who is it for?
Businesses with roughly 10 to 500 staff, groups that run several companies, and anyone who bills on a cycle, such as schools, training providers, professional firms and membership businesses.
Do I have to use every module?
No. Most teams start with invoicing and payments. HR & Payroll is an add-on priced per employee, so you add it only if you run payroll in Flux.
How is pricing counted?
By transactions: the invoices and vouchers you create in a calendar month. Vouchers created by payroll don’t count, and approving, sending, paying and reading are never limited. See Pricing.
How do my customers pay?
By card or bank transfer, from a Pay online link on every invoice and payment email. The payment is matched to the invoice and a receipt is issued.
Can we bring our existing data?
Yes. Import customers, employees and your chart of accounts from Excel. Invoice numbering can follow a sequence or continue your existing format.
We run three companies. Do we need three accounts?
No. One login covers several organisations, each with its own settings, numbering and branding.
Is there an API?
Yes. A REST API covers customers, invoices, receipts and statements, with signed webhooks and scoped keys. See Developers.
